-Start paying attention to what you normally think of as silly ideas. Sometimes there’s a low-effort opportunity to act on them.
-Viewers like it when the people behind a brand advocate for it. It gives a video a human touch. CEOs, founders etc. We know they’re all busy, but if they’ve taken the time out of their day to appear in their own video, it means that they have found the time.
-Consider using a relatable title: “Wouldn’t it be cool if…”, “ Even Marketers need to have a little fun.” The question is how?
-My god the video below made me cry like a bitch. The story that this video tells almost restores your faith in humanity. The reason why it worked, is because it told a good story. You want to know the ending to. It invoked empathy, something that gets anyone crying like a baby. Apply the story element to your industry and create something that links with your brand… Make sure to add a dash of that empathy…
-Taboo subjects are never normally brought up.. So when a video pops up that resolves an uncomfortable topic, it does make you watch. Think of some of the problems that your product solves? Think of some of the problems your customers may have had with your product but are embarrassed to address?
